Meeting, Monday, April 26th-7:00 PM

The Sustainable Mullica meeting will be held Monday, April 26th at 7:00 PM (please note time change due to PPA presentation) at Town Hall prior to the Environmental Commission hosting a presentation given by the Pinelands Preservation Alliance.

The Pinelands Preservation Alliance (PPA) is pleased to offer a 90-minute presentation on sustainable community design to Pinelands municipalities.

The purpose of the program is to provide Pinelands municipal officials, board members and decision makers with a comprehensive overview of sound community design techniques that can be implemented in the Pinelands.

The presentation will cover topics such as: mixed-use centers and walkable/bikeable neighborhoods; energy conservation measures and alternative energy solutions; green building; water quality and conservation; stormwater management; protecting open space and natural resources; historic preservation;transit oriented development,and the Sustainable Jersey program.
