Sustainable Mullica's Adopt-A-Road Clean Up Schedule

The following is the schedule for Sustainable Mullica's Adopt-a-Road Clean Ups. We will only need to meet every other month now that we have a full year to meet our goal.

At the top of the the page is a tab you can click to see Mullica's available Adoptable Roads.  Anyone can adopt a road, but the grant money must be given to a nonprofit. Feel free to adopt your own road and designate the money to Sustainable Mullica or any nonprofit of your choice.

Also, for those involved with the school, there is an Adopt-a-Schoolyard Program. You can contact ACUA through their website and get on board. It is a great way to do worthwhile work and make a little extra money for other good causes!

In the interest of keeping our Green Team creative, fresh and innovative we will no longer have regular monthly meetings. The meetings were definitely needed to kick off our work and get the ball rolling. Our actions are now completed by action leaders, small committees and individuals committed to their work. If you would like to have a meeting or need help forming a committee please send me an email or give me a call (609.703.1700).

Sustainable Mullica, Monday, June 27-7:00 PM-NOTE LOCATION CHANGE

Our next meeting is Monday, June 27th @ 7pm. The Environmental Commission has no business so I'm moving the meeting to our garage (1701 Fifth Avenue). I think the more relaxed setting works for the summer. Feel free to bring a snack to share. We'll supply the beverages. 7th ANNUAL GREAT AMERICAN BACKYARD CAMPOUT-SATURDAY, JUNE 25TH

The National Wildlife Federation 7th Annual Great American Backyard Campout is being held this Saturday, June 25th. Camp out in your backyard, camp out with friends at a local campground. This is an opportunity to give back to our children what they don't even realize they've lost, a connection to the natural world. Sustainable Mullica meeting date changed to Monday, May 23rd

Memorial Day falls on the last Monday in May. Therefore, we will hold our Sustainable Mullica Meeting on Monday, May 23rd @ 7:00 P.M. @ Mullica Township Town Hall. We will focus on our upcoming Mullica Township Community Green Day. This event is an opportunity to bring all Mullicans together to strengthen our sense of community and have a little fun! Please come out and see how you can help, get involved, and make a difference. You are needed!

Mullica Township Clothing Drive Fundraiser

The Mullica Township PTA is holding a Clean Out your Closet clothing and more drive during the month of May. (please see link above for acceptable items and where you can drop them off). This is a great chance to clean out your closets and donate to a great cause all at the same time.

Road Clean Up tomorrow-Saturday, May 7th @ 9:00 AM

The Adopt-a-Road clean up is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, May 7 @ 9:00 AM. Everyone please meet at the Egg Harbor City Cemetery.
